The Vienna boarding audio appears to have made between 1987-1990, according to acoustical engineers, and is significant for those who study the biogenetic black market because the flight number referenced in the recording happens to correspond to the flight which carried a smuggled sample of long-terminal repeat retrotransposons. This sample was one of only three where reverse-transcribed RNA was not only present, but mutating. That the recording was made at all is remarkable; that it was leaked, more remarkable yet.
